Rail Service

• Passenger Service: Amtrak Passenger Rail Service provides daily passenger rail service to and from Worcester.
• Freight Service: One of New England’s largest mainline freight interchanges is the Worcester area rail system. Worcester serves as an inland port for containerized freights. It handles containers of import cargoes from the Far East, which move by rail from West Coast ports to Worcester and are transferred to trucks for final delivery in New England.
